SAN ANTONIO — Six Flags Fiesta Texas has begun its 2026 Fright Fest season with a new maze based on The Conjuring Universe, two new scare zones and an expanded interactive lantern experience. The nighttime event runs on select dates from September 11 through November 1.
The park’s announced lineup includes six haunted mazes, seven scare zones and nine live entertainment experiences, along with rides after dark and seasonal food and drinks.
The new Conjuring maze draws on the Warrens’ occult museum and cases depicted in the films, bringing together Annabelle, the Nun and the Perron farmhouse. It joins the returning SAW: Legacy of Terror, which builds its environments around scenes and traps inspired by the SAW films. Four original park mazes complete the haunted-attraction lineup.
Two additions change the atmosphere outside the mazes. Cirkus Bezerkus: Big Top Terror uses a deteriorating traveling circus as its setting, with carnival games, sideshow performers and clowns along the route. Alley of the Dead takes a different direction: a fictional toxic-waste spill has turned a neon-lit alley into territory for zombie punks and other creatures.
The park is also expanding its interactive lantern program. Six Flags says the specialty lanterns work at more than 25 points around the park, triggering effects and other responses built into the event. That gives visitors another way to engage with the settings between haunted attractions.
Daytime programming is separate in tone and schedule. Tricks and Treats runs Saturdays and Sundays from September 12 through November 1, with trick-or-treating, costume contests, Halloween shows and activities intended for families. Those daytime offerings should not be confused with the haunted programming that takes over after sunset.
Oktoberfest adds another fall option on select dates from September 5 through October 31, with live music and seasonal food and beverages.
Visitors planning to enter the haunted mazes should check admission requirements before buying. The park sells a Haunted Attractions Pass for a selected night, with an Express upgrade available; park admission is not included in that add-on. The distinction matters when comparing a park ticket or season pass with access to the mazes themselves.
