Salem’s official 2026 Haunted Happenings guide is now available digitally, giving visitors a starting point for planning an October trip to the Massachusetts city. Destination Salem announced its arrival August 29 and says printed copies will be available around Salem at the end of September.
Haunted Happenings brings together separately organized tours, museums, attractions, vendor fairs, parties and other seasonal events. The guide helps readers navigate those choices; it should not be mistaken for a single ticket covering every activity.
The free Destination Salem app also offers itinerary tools, bookmarks and notifications about parking, traffic and activities. Visitors should check individual listings for reservations, hours and admission requirements as their travel dates approach.
Destination Salem has also supplied media materials encouraging visitors to take the train. Consult current transportation information before traveling, and check return-service times when planning an evening visit.
The official Haunted Happenings website provides the guide, event listings and visitor resources.
