A familiar raincoat and hook are heading to three SeaWorld parks this fall.
SeaWorld has announced an all-new “I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch” haunted house for its 2026 Howl-O-Scream events in Orlando, San Diego, and San Antonio. The houses are scheduled to open September 11, giving fans in three regions a chance to enter a walk-through version of the horror story that began in the 1997 film.
The attraction will return visitors to Southport, the seaside community at the center of the original movie. According to SeaWorld’s announcement, guests will move through recreated scenes tied to the friends whose attempt to conceal a deadly accident draws the attention of the Fisherman. Rather than watching that pursuit from a theater seat, visitors will become part of it as the killer closes in throughout the maze.
The project is notable for more than its three-park rollout. SeaWorld says this is the first time I Know What You Did Last Summer has been turned into a haunted attraction for a major Halloween event. It also gives all three Howl-O-Scream destinations a shared intellectual-property house while leaving room for each park’s broader lineup of original mazes, scare zones, entertainment, themed bars, and nighttime rides.
At SeaWorld Orlando, the licensed house joins a 2026 slate that already includes original concepts such as The Crawl Space and Everything Must Stay. Orlando’s event runs on select nights from September 11 through October 31 and requires a separate ticket. Details, ticket structures, and operating calendars can differ at the San Diego and San Antonio parks, so visitors should consult the page for the location they plan to attend.
The announcement arrives while SeaWorld is promoting limited-time summer ticket offers. Those prices and promotions may change, making the individual park websites the best source for current availability.
For horror fans, the new maze offers a chance to step into one of the late 1990s’ defining slashers. For the haunt industry, its simultaneous debut in three cities is a sizable seasonal adaptation—one built around a secret that, nearly three decades later, still refuses to stay buried.
