Image credit: Courtesy of Triangle Terror ConDURHAM, N.C. — Triangle Terror Con returns to Durham on Saturday, Sept. 26, bringing horror personalities, independent creators, vendors and interactive entertainment together for a one-day convention at the Millennium Hotel.
The locally owned and operated event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. General admission starts at $5, while children 12 and younger are admitted free.
This year’s guest lineup includes Nathan Baesel, star of the cult horror film “Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon,” which marks its 20th anniversary this year. Michael Hargrove, whose credits include “Candyman” and “Bitter Souls,” is also scheduled to appear.
Voice actors Brian Watts and Ian Russell, author Rollin Jewett, and AK and Laura of The Chainsaw Girls Podcast round out the announced media and entertainment guests.
Beyond the guest appearances, Triangle Terror Con is putting a significant focus on independent creators and regional horror culture.
The convention marketplace will include artists, publishers and specialty vendors, including custom vinyl creator Disco Volante, alternative fashion and handmade-bag maker Khaotic Kreations, and independent publisher Jobber House Press.
Gaming will also be part of the event. Nacto Gaming Studios is scheduled to showcase TRIMSON, an upcoming system-driven zombie survival game, giving attendees an opportunity to experience the title during the convention.
Organizers describe Triangle Terror Con as a community-focused event built by horror fans and designed to remain accessible to both dedicated genre followers and families.
“Horror is more than just movies; it is a community,” the organizers said in announcing this year’s event.
The 2026 convention is supported by community partners and sponsors including 8 Lug Circus, The Variant, Ultimate Wireless and The Cryptwoods.
Triangle Terror Con takes place Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Millennium Hotel, 2800 Campus Walk Ave. in Durham, North Carolina.
