The Newburgh Civitan Club has partnered with Henderson Haunts, the Kentucky team behind The Reckoning, to rework the Indiana fundraiser. According to the announcement, Civitan approached the team after learning it needed to relocate, and active club members voted unanimously to pursue the partnership.
Organizers promise a new haunted-house layout, additional storytelling and new scares. Those are plans for the upcoming production, rather than findings from a completed visit.
The charity connection remains central. Spokesperson Jim Miller says the haunt is Civitan’s annual fundraiser and that the club distributes most proceeds to other nonprofits, with particular attention to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Opening weekend begins at 5466 Vann Road in Newburgh, Indiana. Follow the official Zombie Farm channels for ticket information and the operating calendar as the season approaches.
